Gosnells Archers was established in 1967 and is one of the oldest active archery clubs in the Perth metropolitan area. Our members come from across Perth's south-eastern suburbs, and we always welcome visitors from other clubs.

The club was originally located in Orange Grove before relocating to our current home on Holmes Street, Huntingdale, in 2013.

In September 2016, the club suffered a devastating arson attack that destroyed our clubhouse and much of our equipment. Despite this setback, the club continued operating without interruption, utilising two large sea containers, borrowed tables and chairs, and equipment generously donated by members and supporters.

Thanks to the dedication of our members and the support of the City of Gosnells, the club rose from the ashes. Within six months, we were operating from a new clubhouse that was larger and better equipped than before. Today, Gosnells Archers is proud to be the only archery club in Western Australia with a dedicated 10-lane indoor 18-metre shooting range, which hosts our evening indoor shooting sessions.

 

The club grounds are available for member use every day except Wednesday mornings. We conduct outdoor target club shoots on Saturday mornings from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm during summer (October to March) and from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm during winter (April to September).

We run beginner courses each year and are supported by a dedicated coaching team consisting of five Level 2 Coaches and eight Level 1 Coaches who generously volunteer their time to help archers of all ages and abilities develop their skills.

Gosnells Archers is a not-for-profit community sporting club built on a strong family culture, supported by passionate members and an active volunteer committee.
