Club History & Info

Gosnells Archers was formed in the late 50's early 60's & is the oldest active archery club in the Perth Metropolitan area. We have members from all over the south-eastern suburbs of Perth, and we always welcome visitors from other clubs.

Gosnells was originally opened in Orange Grove and then moved to our current location on Holmes St Huntingdale around 2013.

In September 2016 our club suffered an arson attack in which we lost our club house and a great deal of our equipment. Even so we carried on without a hitch using two large sea containers, some borrowed tables and chairs and other various donations of equipment.

With the help of our members at the time and the City Of Gosnells council, the club rose up from the ashes and within six months was up and running again, in a much larger and better club house. We are the only club currently in WA that have a 10 lane indoor 18m shooting range that we run out evening indoor shoot from.

The club has access to the field every day except Wednesday mornings, we have outdoor target club shoots on Saturday mornings 8:30 to noon in Summer (October - March) and 9:00 to 12:00 in Winter (April - September). We run 5 beginner courses through the year, we have 2 level 2 coaches and 5 level 1 coaches that volunteer their time.

Gosnels arechers is a not-for-profit club and is run off of a great family of members and a dedicated & active committee.

For more information regarding the club please email us at president@gosnellsarchers.asn.au or come down to watch the club shoot on a Saturday morning.
